Thurgoland Tunnel

Today I went to Thurgoland Tunnel to take some band photos, and whilst we were there I grabbed a couple of selfies (obvs)

In the Void

When you’re just over half way through a holiday and you’ve lost all sense of time and day.

I love it when the buttercups come out! ^_^
It was really windy whilst I was shooting this, and cold. Well it wasn’t cold, cold; but you would have wanted a jumper on. Which is a bit rubbish really given that it is June tomorrow!

This is a couple of weeks old now. For some reason I forgot to post it on here. I think it’s the lack of routine with not posting every day that does it!

It’s half term now though so I’m going to try and shoot every day if I can. I’ve done today’s photos, and I’ll post them tomorrow.

Tulip

Since then I’ve been on the Featured thingy on WordPress, so gained a few new followers (hello!) and loads of comments and likes on the post about Holland. Kind of wish I’d put more effort into the actual blogging side of it, but then again this isn’t about me writing epic tales, it’s about photos. So. Whatever.

On Unfamiliar Ground

On Unfamiliar Ground

After waking from her sleep she finds herself in an unfamiliar place. She must have walked here whilst she slept. There is heather as far as the eye can see, and the sun is hidden behind dark rain clouds, although it isn’t yet raining.
The sun has well and truly risen, and it is time to move forward and see what the new day brings.

No more left to give

No more left to give // 16 01 15

I’ve had this shot in mind for a while. It’s not in my original plans for the series, nor even in the revised “add in” sketches, but I fell like it fits.

After walking through the woods she has ended up veering from the path she originally followed and has collapsed amongst the leaves and fallen branches; she has nothing left to give.
She lies there, asleep, throughout the night and as dawn begins to break she begins to stir.
