I was so adamant that I didn’t want today’s photo to be another flower, but I’m so tired and totally out of ideas that it was inevitable.
Day 7 / 16 – Photo in a different location every day challenge
Location 7: Ridgeway, Sheffield, UK
Today has been a proper little holiday day. I have been to the pub for dinner (this field was next to the pub; two birds with one stone. Win!) then we went out for sushi for tea! Yum! Next we shall eat Easter eggs and drink beer and watch TV 🙂
This picture is of far out of what has become my comfort zone. It is bright and it is a panorama. I’m not even sure if I like it, possibly because it isn’t what I’ve become used to doing. Tomorrow is another day though, albeit it is supposed to be another sunny day…
Day 2 / 16 – Photo in a different location every day challenge
Location 2: Owlthorpe Grasslands Grazing Project
This patch of land is at the end of the road my mum and dad live on. It used to be completely overgrown (grass up to your armpits overgrown, and I’m 5 foot 10!) but it is slowly being transformed. Fences have been put up, cows have been put in, trees have been chopped down… I’m not sure what the end goal with it is, as I’ve read that it was supposed to be turned into a living landscape; not too sure what the fences and paths and gates have to do with that. Maybe it has been bought.
Today I spent all morning ironing. Maybe a slight exaggeration but it did take a long time – my own fault for not doing it last weekend though!
This afternoon however was another story. I met up with my friend and we went to check out some locations – one of my all time favourite things to do – a little trip into the unknown!
I found (or rather my friend showed me) old buildings, old overgrown graves and bluebells (I actually found these on my own) so it was a very exciting.
Looks like there will be many return trips here, as it was super easy to get to ^_^
Some days I wake up and I can’t wait to take a photo. Some days I wake up and I have load of ideas.
Some days I wake up and if I weren’t doing a photo every day I know without shadow of a doubt that I would not have picked my camera up that day. Today was one of those days.
It is not often that I resent taking a photo every day, and today was no exception. I think I have successfully worked it so far into my routine that it would be weird to not take a photo, even though I don’t want to or I’m not inspired.
I think that lack of inspiration is easier at this time of year; it’s lighter for longer and there are flowers out in the garden.
