Another day in the garden. It was really nice today – apparently (according to the thermometer in the car) it was 22 degrees! The perfect temperature for me : )
Hopefully tomorrow there isn’t much left to do in the garden and we can go on a walk
Another afternoon spent in the garden. I’ve managed to get the juniper bush fully out, trimmed the bottom off the red robin bush (it kind of looks like a mushroom now, but it lets the light get underneath it).
I’ve moved another plant, and raked over a section. Not sure what I plan on planting in the psace I’ve made.
I did have a sneaky look under the covering where the mint was…. and around the edges there is some mint growing. Like how? There is no light!!! Grrrr
In the mornings and at night you can tell that it is getting lighter now. When I get in from work the evening light is still lingering around for a while before the sun fully sets and it gets dark. The more I look for signs of spring, the easier they are to notice too.
The iris I shot yesterday is the first to fully open up in both my front and back gardens; but there are crocus heads starting to appear too.
