I’m hoping that after a really big lie in and a general few days of rest I am back to my normal self. I’m fed up of feeling ill. My sore throat has come back a bit today, go away!!

Another shot where I’ve left it a bit late.
After coating myself in bug repellent, and loading myself up on antihistamines, I ventured out into the garden to mow the lawn. Managed to not get bitten so that is good *thumbs up*. I then slept for about 4 hours in the afternoon as my hip had been playing up and well I was just tired. Woke up just in time to start cooking tea; did level 3 of the Shred, ate tea, did 30 mins on the exercise bike. Realised it was 930pm and I’d not taken a picture.
Still really tired despite the nap!
The Birthday Cake

Today kB is 29. I made him a triple layer chocolate cake, got ID’d trying to buy the sparkler, and bought him many presents and took him out for sushi. He ordered so much sushi he couldn’t finish it all and had to bring it home.
Today I also photographed some WW1 and WW2 medals, but they have school children in them so I wont be sharing them 🙂

Today has been another damp day, and the forecast doesn’t look too better for the rest of the week either 😦 Looks like I’m going to be back shooting in doors for a while, silly English weather!

I cannot believe it is Christmas Eve tomorrow.
As is mine and kB’s tradition we shall have special sausage sandwiches (This year we have reindeer sausages!! So I apologise if Santa doesn’t make it, I have eaten Rudolph…) and then as is family tradition we shall go to the cinema.
This year we shall see The Hobbit part 2.
Then all back to mine and kB’s for pizza and snacks and beer… and then get too excited to go to sleep because PRESENTS.
The flicker of the flame
Starting to get a bit of cabin fever. I’ve been out, but only to my mums or the shops. The weather is rainy and I want to go out and take photos using my filters and new lens : (
Weirdly I am looking forward to restarting the project next year, though at the moment I’m running low on inspiration – not too sure what I think January 1st will bring me! hehe
