Another week down, another weekend is here. Getting up early tomorrow morning to try to take another part of a series I am working on.
This image is another one in the series, each image links the previous one to the next one.

This is nowhere even close to what I had in mind for today, but it rained most of the day; and when it wasn’t raining it was brilliant sunshine making the shot I originally planned couldn’t be done!

Damp. It rained a lot of the day but then the sun came out (although it spent a lot of time playing behind clouds). It’s not often that I use the sun in a shot with me in it (mainly due to compositional problems and what not, hard to be behind the camera and in front of the camera at the same time 😉 ) but I decided to go for it this time as the tree was a massive help.
I couldn’t jump/pull myself up but I had managed to talk kB into coming out for the walk, so he hoisted me up and passed me cups and saucers 🙂

Tomorrow is my grandmas birthday, so we went to my mums for dinner. These delicious red leaves had grown through the fence from next door and I decided to brave the rain and go out and pick some!
The weather forecast it looking rather glum for the next few weeks – it rained all yesterday and a massive chunk of today (though annoyingly it cleared just before sunset). I hate being stuck inside : (

Yesterday’s photo involved the horse chestnuts I pulled over and collected on Friday. Going to have to play conkers with them soon ^_^

Ever year for as long as I have worked there I have driven past this massive horse chestnut tree at the side of the road.
When ever I see something like this I always end up talking myself out of doing it. Today, none of this talking myself out of it crap. I was pulling over into the pub car park and picking the cr*p out of those horse chestnuts.
I have a right haul and I didn’t even take that many in comparison to how many were there! I had a little bag at hand, and was over joyed at the sheer number on the floor, as well as some which were still in cases/half in cases.
Looking forward to shooting with them, they are so shiny!!

Feeling the nights drawing in, and even though I always shoot around tea time, I’m feeling the pressure to grab a shot before it goes dark.
Starting to wonder what I will shoot when it gets dark early again, as I much prefer natural light – but that’s nearly impossible to achieve when you leave for work and it’s dark and get back and it’s dark … Shoot at work on my lunch break?
