This was such a hassle to shoot in terms of holding the camera in one hand and holding hands with the other. You would have thought that I was asking my boyfriend to stand on one hand the amount of huffing and sighing involved in this. Such an effort to hold my hand 😛

Those who are left behind

This image is freakin’ massive. Like seriously. The full sized version of this is 100% bigger than the online version. I have no idea why I didn’t scale it down (well actually I did, I shaved 4000 pixels off both width and height). I think there was a stubbornness in me which wanted to see how big I could keep it.
Not that having a file that big really serves any purpose. At all.
But there we go.

The steep uphill struggle012 // 365
Sometimes it looks like the climb to the top (whatever your ‘top’ might be) will be easy.
Sometimes you just know it will be a struggle.
Sometimes you don’t even try to excel because you are afraid of failure, or even afraid of what you will find at the top.

Today was a cold day; or at least I assume it was cold in the morning. Very frosty, and it stayed that way for quite some time. By the time we decided to go out for a walk, the frost had gone and it was cold, but not terribly so.
So far in the UK we have had a mild winter in terms of temperature. It has been a bit crazy in terms of wind and flooding though.

Of a captivating summers day drawing to a close

I have in a fit of itching rage taken too many antihistamines. As a side effect for the last 3 days I have been very tired and somewhat out of it.
Always take the recommended dosage! I am feeling a lot better now though so hopefully after a good nights sleep I should be back to normal – without any fresh bites.

I normally stick to my guns with my project 365; if I set out with a photo in mind and said photo turns out OK then I feel I must use it regardless of if I took other photos which I also like. For example when we went wire wool spinning I really liked one of the other ones but went with the one with me sat in it because it was what I wanted to do.

Today, I break with tradition and I go with the shot of me and kB instead; just as we were about to leave the sun broke from behind the cloud.
My legs are a wonky donkey and I’m pretty sure one of my shoes isn’t on… but in an odd way I think it adds to it.

Late Night

Had the most of the day to take this shot, but in my wisdom decided to leave it until “after tea”. Which turned out to be 2230. We were both tired and not really interested in it, but it’s done now!
