Baking again, choc chip cookies on the right and oatmeal carrot cake cookies on the left. Totally delicious, kB has already had 4 of the choc chip ones!
Fudgy dark chocolate brownies

This bank holiday weekend is set to be a bit wet, so I have baked up a (mini) storm today. Chocolate fudgy brownies for kB and raspberry oatmeal cookies for me. For some reason the cookies have come out really big this time – they aren’t really cookie shaped at all… Tomorrow I am going to make carrot oatmeal cookies. I hope they are delicious as I love love love carrot cake. mmmm

Internet was so bad again yesterday that I couldn’t upload my shot. Sadly I didn’t make this cupcake, we bought it from the shops! It’s been far too hot in the UK to bake!!
The Birthday Cake

Today kB is 29. I made him a triple layer chocolate cake, got ID’d trying to buy the sparkler, and bought him many presents and took him out for sushi. He ordered so much sushi he couldn’t finish it all and had to bring it home.
Today I also photographed some WW1 and WW2 medals, but they have school children in them so I wont be sharing them 🙂
Chocolate and Raspberry Cupcakes
I really do enjoy baking. I make the massivest mess ever (and I hate cleaning up! Urgh) but I enjoy the process of mixing all the ingredients together and popping them in the oven.
I’m not very good at decorating though. This might be partiually due to the fact I have a tremor and doing things such as squeezing the icing out of a tube makes it worse, but the more I do it the more I find a way to work around it : )
These are chocolate and raspberry cupcakes. You mix up the chocolate cupcake ingredients, spoon it into cases then add in some frozen raspberries!
They explode when they cook so there are little gooey caves when you bite into them.
