On Fridays, we have to fit a quick photo in. As always the default is a flower!
I woke up this morning and there was a nice sunset coming up; so I grabbed by camera and my 500mm zoom lens an set up on my chest of drawers. Unfortunately in my excitement / rush to get out of the house for work on time I didn’t really check the photos.
I got home excited to edit them, but they weren’t quite in focus 😦 So here we have another flower. Hopefully the weather over the weekend will be OK so I can get out and shoot something different!

Today I went out to photograph a fox. The fox(es) did not come out to play. So I returned home, and had to think of something else to shoot. We shall try for foxes another day!

A bit of lazy day today… I went to the shops this morning, and then came home and sorted out the washing. Then I meant to do the ironing, but I just kind of sat and watched the whole Sex and the City movie and did nothing else.
Then I took this photo (quick snap), and did my exercise, cooked tea and went to the gym. This was the last day when my brother can go with us (he’s into strongest man training, and the gym doesn’t really cater for him so he’s had to join a special one), so we focused on good technique so that when me and kB go together we know what to look for. I’m pants at good technique on the deadlift – I don’t push back when I stand up, and he is pants when squatting; but now we know what to look out for we can spot for each other!
Another TK Maxx bargain dress, this one was £9! ^_^
Yesterday’s shot was another last minute one. Another shot where the original idea hadn’t worked out, and I didn’t like the end result enough to post it online. That’s two this week, I’m struggling a bit more with this more ‘urban’ approach than I thought I would.
It’s the concepts that are letting me down, and part of that is due to time restraints and also the fact I’m working more or less alone. Hmmm. Still, it’s a learning process!
