Day 16 / 16 – Photo in a different location every day challenge
Location 15: I have no idea what it’s called but it is part of the Trans Pennine Trail, UK

So, 16 days later and I managed to take a photo in 15 different places, weather being the only reason I didn’t make it to 16. The furthest away I ventured was my grandma’s house I think. She lives about 40 minutes away, most of these locations are really close to my house and for this I am grateful. I live in a great area for woodlands, parks and general nature-y stuff ^_^

I really wanted to do this my with bird cage rather than the lantern again, but I was going on my own and had enough to carry anyway without a massive birdcage. I was dubious about setting the smoke off, as I hadn’t realised how close these woods are to a golf course and I could hear some men talking, and see another man mowing the grass! It turns out that this smoke isn’t quite as bad as I’d anticipated, mainly because my only other experience with it was in a house where it was quite condensed. Glad that I eventually decided to bit the bullet and light it, though I am now out of smoke stuff until the other bath I ordered comes through the post.

Sadly though, day 16 also means that it is back to work tomorrow however there isn’t long to go until the next holiday!

I’ve also ordered a new prop which I am so so so excited about *flails arms about*.

Day 15 / 16 – Photo in a different location every day challenge
Location 14: My garden, UK

Technically not shot in my garden (even though I have shot in my house twice) so I’m going to allow myself this one. Felt ill yesterday, and don’t really feel much better today. Possibly suffering from back to work blues.

The loss of naivety

Today I spent all morning ironing. Maybe a slight exaggeration but it did take a long time – my own fault for not doing it last weekend though!
This afternoon however was another story. I met up with my friend and we went to check out some locations – one of my all time favourite things to do – a little trip into the unknown!
I found (or rather my friend showed me) old buildings, old overgrown graves and bluebells (I actually found these on my own) so it was a very exciting.
Looks like there will be many return trips here, as it was super easy to get to ^_^
Bluebells on the way :-D

Botanical Gardens, Sheffield

Botanical Gardens, Sheffield

(& my mums garden!)
fb page.

Today has been lovely. Warm, sunny, blue skies!
I have lazed in the garden, been out for sushi and then had a little stroll around the botanical gardens in town before then walking to M&S and buying some wasabi peas.
When I got to the botanical gardens I switched my camera on and got a “Battery Depleted” message. Grrrr! Managed about 4 shots (turned it off and on again and it worked even though the battery light was on red!) before calling it quits. I normally have about 2 spare sets on me, but noooooo not today booo : (
Tomorrow, we shall have a BBQ then kB shall watch the grand prix whilst I go out to take photos.

Bluebell Woods

Bluebell Woods

Had a busy day today. Went to Woolley Woods in the morning to photograph the bluebells and then off to the practice rooms to photograph Rob. Took an obscene amount of shots however Lightroom makes sorting through them relativity easy.

However, bluebell woods is another thing crossed off my list of things to photograph ^_^
Got hopelessly lost on the way there as my sat nav kept loosing signal. Turns out that I’d parked at the “far end” and if I’d known where I was going the “near end” was more or less next to Meadowhall *urgh*. Double *urgh* as the practice room is also near Meadowhall! Oh well!
