Another fairly warm day, although nowhere near as hot as yesterday, allowed me to get out into the front garden this time! Another lawn mowed, edging done and some more weeding done! Just in time for the temperature to drop and it to remain all week
Wonderful spring weekend

This weekend has been a lovely weekend. Yesterday was a lot brighter than today, but this morning I noticed that a lot of flowers had come out in my garden!
There are snake’s head fratellis, tulips, daffodils (white ones, normal ones, tiny triple headed ones), wall flowers, pansy’s…! 🙂
I think last year was the first time I planted tulips on the front, they will get more sun that the ones on the back; but the ones on the back are not too far off flowering.

I’m not too sure when these popped up in my garden, but judging by the state of the petals it might have been a while ago. I only noticed them yesterday though; they are a late summer flower and they’ve been in my mum’s garden for a couple of months now but only just come out in mine : )

Today I spent most of the morning reading a book (hurray!).
This afternoon I went out and bought the following…
A Kindle (I don’t really like e-readers, its all about the feel and smell of a book, but we have no space in our house for any more books! : ( )
A sideboard and matching table set (How very grown up)
Some flowers (The tulips are new, the others are what is left of the stolen wedding flowers from last week).
