The weather forecast wasn’t great for today as I went to sleep last night. So I set my expectations low. I woke up, and the sun was just about to rise – but there were loads of clouds rolling in. I decided to not bother running out (which was my gut instinct). Instead I made a cup of tea and watched some YouTube videos.

I stood up to make a cup of tea and the sun started to stream through the window. Excellent! So I ran to grab my camera, tripod and a floaty dress (the shot in my PJs might not have been quite the same), and here we are.

I’ve tried to go out and shoot twice today, but each time it started raining. So I’ve taken that as a sign and have stayed with this photo for today!
