I look the look of arial photography, and I’ve been passively researching drones for a while now. As it was Black Friday I had a look around for some offers and found a DJI Spark. It’s not the best drone, but it looks pretty good for it’s price point, so I figured I’d give it a go.

Once I had wrapped my head around the controllers it was quite fun. I still can’t quite get to grips with looking at my screen, rather than looking at the drone – but I managed to be able to quickly swap between record and shoot modes, and managed to move around using the controller pretty well by my second outing.

The main problems are that I’m either too fast at moving it, or too jerky with it. But this will get better with time!
