The Start of Autumn

Today is the official start of autumn. So to celebrate my favourite time of year I’ve decided to take a photo each day throughout September and October.
When I went out today I limited myself to one lens. So my kit was:
• Pentax k3
• Tamron 90mm macro lens 2.8

Sun on the leaves I really liked the way the sun was hitting these leaves as I walked into the woods. I had wondered if the sun would still be too harsh, given that it was August yesterday, but I didn’t need to worry. Acorn

Who can resist an acorn!

In the Woods I thought the tree on the left looked a bit dark and spooky. So naturally I had to take a picture. Dragonfly

I was able to get up close to this little fellow who just sat there minding his own business. There was a really massive bright yellow dragonfly buzzing around, but unfortunately he didn’t stop still so I couldn’t catch him.

Tomorrow I was thinking about getting up and shooting the sunrise. Then I checked the weather and it said it would be misty (This is fine), then I checked the weather again and it says no mist just heavy clouds. I suppose I will have to monitor it!
